The Dagum Promise

Promises are meant to be upheld. As Firefighters we made a promise to the citizens that we will arrive prepared to rescue them on their worst day. The Dagum Promise is an intensive, hands on training class that focuses on fulfilling our promise on the fireground, searching for the people we swore to protect.

This search class is a 2 day class that uses data and research to develop firefighters skill set for residential search operations. Firefighters will increase their knowledge of why we search, how to search and where to search as well as increase their ability to gain access to a structure, safely and effectively search rooms as part of a crew, find and remove victims and effectively communicate during search operations. This class will include a lecture, hands on skill sets and will build understanding and muscle memory before utilizing and testing skills in realistic scenarios.

Firefighters will gain the confidence, skill, and education to fulfill the promise that they made to the people they serve.
