The Dagum Push

The Dagum Push is an intensive, hands on engine operations course designed to reinforce the critical importance of open flowing hose lines during fire attack. This class emphasizes that opening the nozzle- open bale- equates to immediate control of the fire environment, enhancing survivability for both victims and firefighters.

Students will engage in realistic, high rep evolutions focusing on key fireground functions: effective line stretching, stationary flowing, and victim removal while continuing to flow water. Instruction is delivered in a progressive " crawl, walk, run" format to build skill, confidence, and tactical discipline in real-time fireground scenarios.

This course is delivered with a culture of aggressive learning and zero fear of failure. By the end of The Dagum Push, firefighters will be equipped to operate with greater precision, speed, and impact- bringing elevated efficiency and effectiveness to their first-due operations.
